Welcome to our Hicksville Outdoor Living Retreat—a backyard built for both relaxation and entertainment. This beautifully designed space features a custom 8’x21’ in-ground vinyl pool, spacious Cambridge paver patio, fully equipped outdoor kitchen, and a gorgeous pavilion + pergola setup. Every detail was thoughtfully planned and professionally executed to elevate the way our clients enjoy their home.

Project Timeline

Custom 3D Design:
The journey began with a custom 3D design, allowing the homeowners to visualize their dream backyard before construction started. Our team worked closely with them to ensure that every aspect of the design met their vision and needs.

Construction:
Following the approval of the design, we moved into the construction phase. Our skilled team executed the plan meticulously, ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail at every stage.

Grand Reveal:
Finally, the grand reveal showcased the breathtaking transformation of the backyard. The homeowners were thrilled to see their dream realized and now enjoy their own personal oasis.

Pool Description

Explore the key features and specifications of our custom pool designed to enhance the customers’ backyard experience:

  • Pool size: 8’x21’ rectangular in-ground vinyl pool with wedge-style depth—4' at the shallow end to 5' at the deep end.

  • Concrete walls: 10" thick poured concrete walls with rebar for added strength & support. Life-time warranty on wall structure.

  • Vinyl Liner: Merlin 20 mil liner with new gaskets, faceplates, rings, and covers for all pool components. Foam padding added where liner meets concrete for a seamless finish.

  • Steps & Bench: Custom concrete corner steps with integrated bench, covered with foam and vinyl liner for added comfort and safety.

  • Plumbing Lines: 2" Schedule 40 PVC for underground plumbing lines

  • Lighting: Hayward ColorLogic Accent 320 LED 12v lights installed with transformer for vibrant, low-voltage lighting.

  • Maintenance Kit: Pole, net, brush, vacuum head, vacuum hose, & chemical test strips.

  • Accessories: Includes pool rope & float for break-line, pool alarm, tarp cover, and water bags for seasonal use.

Custom Features

This backyard project was more than just a pool—it was a full outdoor living transformation. Some of the standout custom features include:

  • Stoop & Ramp: Custom rear entry stoop with integrated side entry ramp, built with Cambridge decorative wall block on a poured concrete foundation. Topped with Cambridge Ledgestone pavers and cap stones. All joints finished with polymeric sand for a polished look.

  • Patio Space: Over 2,100 sq ft of patio using Cambridge 24"x36" pavers. Includes main lounge patio and connecting walkways. Built on a 6” compacted RCA and gravel base with perimeter concrete footings.

  • Pool Coping: Cambridge Bullnose coping installed on high-strength mortar with concrete footings around the pool perimeter.

  • Drainage System: 6’x6’ pre-cast drywell installed in the rear yard. Includes 2 linear drains piped into the drywell and additional PVC lines to handle gutter runoff from the pavilion roof.

Outdoor Kitchen & Pavilion

A perfect setup for entertaining, the outdoor kitchen and pavilion were custom-built to offer luxury and function year-round.:

Kitchen Wall Block
24' L-shaped BBQ/bar shell made with Cambridge wall block on a poured 8” foundation. Topped with outdoor-rated granite and includes:

  • Blaze 40” LTE Grill

  • Blaze Griddle

  • 24” Outdoor-Rated Refrigerator

  • Double Trash Pull-Out

  • 33” Double Access Doors

  • 16” Double Drawer

  • Sink Access Door

  • 24” Undermount Stainless Steel Sink

Pavilion
18’x22’ white vinyl A-frame pavilion with open rafters and stained pine tongue-and-groove ceiling. Constructed with:

  • 12” Square Azek columns (4 posts)

  • White Azek fascia with cortex screws

  • Hurricane straps and 30-year architectural roofing

  • Four 36” poured concrete footings for support

Pergola
 A 16’x12’ white vinyl pergola was added and attached directly to the pavilion to extend the shaded space and provide additional comfort.
