This Hauppauge project features a custom 18′ × 40′ rectangular in-ground vinyl pool, thoughtfully designed with a sun deck, water features, and a full masonry surround. A raised wall with decorative columns and water bowls creates a striking focal point while concealing the plumbing.

Pool design and features
Explore the key features and specifications of our custom pool designed to enhance the customers’ backyard experience:
Pool size: 18′ × 40′ rectangular in-ground vinyl pool, with a shallow-end depth of 3′10″ and a deep end planned at either 6′ or 7′.
Concrete walls: 10" thick poured concrete walls with rebar for added strength & support. Life-time warranty on wall structure.
Vinyl Liner: Merlin 20 mil liner with new gaskets, faceplates, rings, and covers for all pool components. Foam padding added where liner meets concrete for a seamless finish.
Sun deck and entry: A 7′ concrete platform provides an entryway into the shallow end. The layout includes one top step and two steps from the sun deck, for a total entry length of 10′6″ including the deck and steps.
Bench: 6’ interior bench, covered with foam and vinyl liner for added comfort and safety.
Plumbing Lines: 2" Schedule 40 PVC for underground plumbing lines
Sheer descents: Two 3′ CMP sheer descents are installed in a raised wall.
Bubbler: A Hayward bubbler with an integrated LED light.
Lighting: Hayward ColorLogic 12V Accent 320 LED lights, installed in return fittings with a transformer.
Maintenance Kit & Accessories
Raised wall and masonry
A 2′ × 40′ double-sided Matrix wall, 24″ deep to conceal plumbing, spans the length of the pool. It includes two matching 12″ caps and three evenly spaced 24″ × 36″ columns. Each column supports a water bowl with a plumbed water effect; there is no fire feature.
The pool surround includes Cambridge Bullnose 6″ × 12″ coping or 12″ × 24″ Crusader coping, set over high-strength mortar around the pool perimeter. Cambridge 3-piece Ledgestone is installed over a 4″ concrete slab, with joints sealed using polymeric sand.

Pumps: Two Hayward XE 2.25 HP accessory pumps—one for the bubbler and one for the sheer descent.
Main pump: Hayward TriStar VS 950 Expert Line variable-speed pump (Model SP32950VSP), with extended warranty.
Filter: Hayward C4030 with a 3-way valve.
Sanitation: Hayward AquaRite® S3 salt chlorination system, rated for 40,000 gallons.
Heater: Hayward natural gas heater, 400,000 BTU (Model H400FDN).
